Live the experience of the grape harvest
The harvest is one of the most fascinating experiences that can be lived in the Castelli Romani in the period from the end of August to the beginning of October. If you visit Lazio in this period we offer you the opportunity to participate in the grape harvest and its transformation into wine. You will be directly followed by the producers during the harvesting phase in the vineyard. At the end of the harvest we will bring the grapes to the cellar and you will be able to participate in the first stages of transformation into wine.
After work it is time to relax in the tasting room where you will taste the wines and the olive oil of the Costantini Winery served in combination with local gastronomic products.

A DAY AS A WINEMAKER 2024
HARVEST, CRUSHING AND TASTING
From August 31 to October 13 2024
Program:
- Meeting in the vineyard at the Presciano Estate in Genzano di Roma, with breakfast or a welcome aperitif.
Presentation of the company and the territory by the Costantini family.
- Harvest lesson and demonstration, distribution of necessary materials (scissors and crates), and start of the harvest.
Personalized photos of the event taken by the winery staff.
- After about an hour, the harvest ends.
Snack with local cheeses and cured meats accompanied by Cantina Costantini wines.
- Stomping of the freshly harvested grapes with your feet in vats.
Tasting of the freshly squeezed must and of ricotta and cooked must.
- Pressing of the freshly harvested grapes.
- Guided sensory experience:
a journey into the world of wine, with a sensory analysis technique lesson conducted by the winery's oenologist and sommelier.
Diploma presentation to the children who participated in the harvest.
- Lunch/Dinner among the rows with tasting.**
Tasting of 4 of our best wines accompanied by a selection of cheeses served with our homemade jams, a hot first course, local cured meats, porchetta, Genzano bread with extra virgin olive oil, and our pickled vegetables.
Dessert paired with sweet wine.
At the end of the tasting, we will send you the photos of the day.
Opportunity to purchase wines directly from the winery.

BUNCHES OF STARS
NIGHT HARVEST WITH TASTING
from August 14 to September 18 *
Program:
- 6 pm. Arrival in the cellar **
Presentation of the estate by the Costantini family, welcome drink
- 6:30 pm Transfer to the vineyard***
Visit of the vegetable garden, of the small farm, production of fresh cheese with your own hands and tasting of ricotta and cooked must.
- 7:15 pm Introduction to wine tasting. Lesson in sensory analysis technique with guided tasting of a wine by the Sommelier of the Costantini Winery
- 8 pm Lesson and demonstration of grape harvest. As the sun goes down, distribution of the necessary material (headlamp, scissors and boxes) and the beginning of the night harvest.

- 9:30 pm end of the harvest Possibility for adults and children to do the pressing with their feet
Tasting of freshly squeezed must.
Delivery of diplomas to the children who participated in the grape harvest
