Cancellation Policies for Tasting Reservations


In accordance with the Italian Tourism Code (Legislative Decree no. 79/2011), which governs bookings and cancellations in the tourism sector, the following cancellation policies apply to reservations for our wine tastings:

1. Cancellation for Individual Bookings

Reservations for wine tastings cannot be cancelled by the customer within 48 hours prior to the start of the event.
 If the cancellation is made before this 48-hour deadline, any deposits or full payments already made may be used as a credit towards a future booking to be held within 3 months from the date of cancellation.
 After this period, the reservation will be considered as confirmed, and the amount paid will not be refunded.
 This rule also applies to bookings made through gift vouchers, in accordance with Art. 55 of the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree no. 206/2005), which excludes the right of withdrawal for services related to specific dates or periods.

2. Cancellation for Private Groups

For private group bookings, the following cancellation penalties apply, depending on the number of days prior to the event:

  • Up to 30 days before the event: free cancellation.
  • Up to 14 days before the event: 50% refund of the total amount, pursuant to Art. 1373 of the Italian Civil Code, which allows withdrawal with the retention of a portion as compensation.
  • Up to 7 days before the event: no refund will be granted, as cancellation at this stage would be too late given the organizational and preparatory requirements of the service.

3. Outdoor Events and Weather Conditions

In the case of outdoor events, if weather forecasts indicate adverse conditions that could compromise the tasting experience, Cantina Costantini reserves the right to cancel the bookings and fully refund any deposits paid.
 This decision is taken in accordance with Art. 1463 of the Italian Civil Code, which regulates the impossibility of performance due to force majeure.

These conditions comply with current Italian regulations and are intended to ensure a transparent and fair service for both our guests and the organizer.
